Cherry blossoms
The cherry tree holds a special place in the minds and hearts of Japanese People. The petals of the cherry blossom, which bloom and scatter out so delicately, brings various good feelings in the heart of the Japanese. These feelings have always been in the hearts of Japanse, and can be found in the 31-syllable Japanese poem (Waka) by the late Oe-no-Masafusa (1041-1111) of the Heian era. We have incorporated these feelings into the shirt.
Characters which are wrritten both sides on the shirt are Hyakunin isshu No.73

On that far mountain
On the slope below the peak
Cherries are in flower.
Oh, let the mountain mists
Not arise to hide the scene.
